I'm 38 now and still playing RIDE, I lose myself completely in the music - not many people share this experience but they're just not as far out as me. My top 5 5. Chrome Waves 4. Going blank again 3. From time to time (live at The Royal Albert Hall) 2. Drive Blind (live 'as above') 1.OX4 Thank you!

Great website, great memories, and great songs As a student in S.Africa in the early 90s, I was a big fan of the shoegazing bands - especially Ride, MBV, and Slowdive. I was in Oxford for a postgrad course in 94-95, and got to see Ride live at the Jericho Tavern. I was a real anorak back then, and remember spotting Mark outside the Our Price near Carfax soon after arriving having a brief chat with Steve over a pint as well, and even walking all the way up Banbury Rd to find the address printed on the cover of the first two eps. I was a sad bugger :-) Cheers!

Hey ride, when Blank was realeased in 1992 i had just been born, i am now 18. Your band is a inspiration to me and it saddens me to know that i was not around for times like the early 90's when things seemed simpler and better then today. Your band is as good as any mainstream band from my generation and i can imagine myself listening to yous even when i'm older. Although i was not there for the experiance to see Ride live in the 90's, i still feel different when listening to them then any other band in the world. Thank you :)
